Q: How has Birth been alienated as the years pass?

These: Birth has been alienated over the years by the lack of a natural birth, which has been drawn away by the increasing use of technology and drugs that install a lack of confidence in a womans body.

Technology:* Include information on machinery used ( heart monitors, Ivs, etc) *Statistics of use of technology... percentages of women going to hospitals * decrease of home births

Drugs: Drugs used to help ease birth... nitrous oxide, epidural, pethidine, Local anesthesia which includes prudendal nerve block and perineal anesthesia, etc VS. no use of drugs

Include information on natural birthing
Natural to experience birth... Mammals giving birth (giraffe, dolphin, natural birthing by human)
C-Section " birth"... Natural? I think NOT
